The "wow" factor of flying into Kauai

Hey, what's up everybody? My name is Scottie Yang. I'm the owner and designer of Heights Apparel. And this is about my trip to Hawaii.

It was an interesting contrast from scenes from my perspective when looking out the plane window, you know, departing Phoenix flying up in the air and it's Brown, you know, it's just no very little green. And then, you know, you fast forward six, seven hours later and you're, you see nothing but blue. Then out of, you know, through some clouds emerged as this mixture of like earthy brown and very lush green vegetation. That was a trip to see. It was nothing like I had ever seen. And I think that's why it's so cool to be able to, to create those experiences for your life because of you, you, you grow up watching the scenes on TV and in movies of what it's like. And then next thing you know, you're, you're staring down on it from the plane, like for real. And that's a really a really cool moment.

And that's from the plane. I haven't even stepped foot on the ground. It was cool because it was gorgeous. It was beautiful. I mean, you're just like, holy cow, like this, this really does exist. And it was a nice visual, and I snap some photos from the plane as we were coming in into a Kauai and, the Lihue airport and when we landed and we got off the plane and then just like, smack hits you, like you, that tropical humidity hits ya. Thankfully it wasn't sunny. It was sunny. And mean you can just feel the thickness. Now. I lived in the South and I've experienced humidity in the South before, but there is, even though it was still very humid, it wasn't bad. Like it was nice. I mean I must be some of that tropical breeze that really helps out. Just the fact that you're on an Island and you know, you, you know that you're surrounded by amazing ocean water the entire way so you have a little bit of reprieve from that.
