Custom Golf Club Swag at Hornacek Golf

Hi, we’re John and Brigid Hornacek. This is Hornacek Golf here in Chandler. We're gonna show you around some of the newest trends in golf equipment and fashion on and off the golf course come on with us, we're gonna show you around.

So we're over here at our super cool new repair shop. Probably the biggest and best thing,  probably about the store, it's pretty cool. We were discussing just golf in general hanging out with the guys. Saturday afternoon, Friday afternoon having a beer, gamble a little bit, smoke a cigar. It's what I enjoy most about golf is not just playing golf, but just hanging out with my friends, bettin a little bit, having a little money on the line.

One of the cool things we do in our repair shop here is we do some custom stamping which Scotty Cameron kind of made famous on all of his putters. You see guys on tour, puttin’ stuff like Jordan Spieth and Tiger and they'll have their name on it or have a little cool saying. So we stamp our wedges here to anything anybody wants to say… politically correct or not.

One of my favorite wedges that we've ever done for someone, it says, "Where is the booze? Is it 5-50 PM yet?” I'd say this guy likes to have a cocktail or two after golf or during golf which is pretty cool.  I had a story where we lost one of our dogs last couple of weeks ago so I stamped all my dog's names into my wedge so just a reminder when I pull my wedge out of the bag… something different, something cool.

About the best story we've ever had back here is one day one of our good customers came in and he was literally in tears.  He had taken his golf clubs out of the back seat, back of his trunk of his car, and put them out besides the back and didn't realize that they were still there and he reversed and ran over all of his golf clubs.  He broke every single shaft in his bag and had to have everything replaced. Pretty much the first time I've ever seen a grown man cry over his golf clubs.
